Your Kitchen Vinyl Wrapping Journey Begins
Step 1: Start by sending us 3-4 pictures via our contact form, WhatsApp, or email at [email protected]. Please include a measurement of the overall worktop length or make a basic measurement plan and send a photograph. We’ll email you a quote in 24-48 hours.
Step 2: Review your quote and contact us with any revisions. You can order postcard-size vinyl samples for home delivery from Architextural. If you’d like to see larger samples, please book a personal appointment at our showroom. We’ll update your quote and email it to you.
Step 3: Once we have your deposit, we’ll book you in to the next available slot, usually in 8-12 weeks. For a specific week, please talk to our Workshop Manager. Jobs normally take 1-2 working days.
Step 4: Decide on your vinyl choice. We’ll need this two weeks before the start date.
The Full Kitchen Vinyl Wrapping Process in Exeter
Before we arrive, please clear your drawers, worktops and any areas around the ends to allow free application of the vinyl wrap.
Step 1: We’ll carefully prepare the old coating by degreasing and sanding areas to promote adhesion. All defects are filled using quality 2-pack filler, and silicone is removed from all areas.
Step 2: Doors and drawers are removed, including all hinges and any door furniture. Then, we apply the vinyl to the surfaces and form it around edges using heat. The process continues on to the fixed cabinet parts.
Step 3: Once the fixed parts are wrapped, the doors and drawers are fitted back on, and the hinges are adjusted. Any silicone is renewed where required. If worktops and splashbacks are also being supplied, these are done after the main kitchen wrapping.
