Your Kitchen Worktop Resurfacing Journey Begins
Step 1: Send us 3-4 pictures using our contact form, WhatsApp, or email at [email protected]. Include worktop measurements or make a basic measurement plan and a photo. We’ll email you a quote based on the photos in 24-48 hours.
Step 2: Review your quote and get in touch with us if you have any revisions. To view completed kitchens and available finishes, book a personal appointment at our showroom. If needed, we’ll update your quote & email or text it to you.
Step 3: As soon as we have received your deposit, we’ll book you in to the next available slot, generally in 8-12 weeks. If you would like to request a specific week, please talk to our Workshop Manager. Most jobs usually take 1-2 working days.
Step 4: Decide on your colour scheme. We’ll need your colour choices two weeks before our first visit.
The Full Kitchen Worktop Resurfacing Process
On the day we are booked to begin work, please clear your kitchen worktops & nearby areas.
Step 1: We’ll carefully remove the old coating and any silicone around the edges. We’ll then use different sandpaper grades to mechanically sand the surface.
Step 2 (optional): At this point, we can change the look of the timber by applying quality staining products.
Step 3: Next, we’ll use a strong 2-pack filler to fill end dents and repair any damage. We can also remove certain water stains and flatten any defects.
Step 4: We will resurface your worktops with the surface or material you have chosen. We use hard-wearing primers and topcoats to ensure a long-lasting, impeccable finish. Finally, we’ll re-silicone all edges with a matching colour, and use a full dust extraction system to clean up.
